What is the [Sí] Network?
Sí’s websites give people the opportunity to tell their stories. Recognizing the value of these voices, we equip our audience with the space and chance to be creators, and to be recognized for their ideas in a collaborative way that respects who they are and what they do. By fostering this cultural collective, we invite all of our members, from new fans to established tastemakers, to join a community where they can connect, interact and support one another.

How many sites area part of the [Sí] Network and how are they different?
Right now, [Sí] has three networks: Community, Entertainment and Television. We have another network launch just around the corner and we will then roll out other networks based on community demand!

How do I register for the site?
On the upper right hand corner of the site you will see a button to register. This will bring you to the [Sí] Community: http://community.sitv.com/user/register. This is where you will create username, provide an email, and fill out your personal and profile information. Once you click “submit” you will receive an email from the Network supplying you with a default password and link. You can click on the link and insert your default password. You will then be able to change the default password to the password of your choice. After you’ve done it all, you will be a new member of our [Sí] Community!

Why do some people have a [Sí] in front of their name?
The reason some people have a [Sí] in front of their username is because they are people who have partnered with the [Sí] network to help create the amazing content you are reading, watching and hearing. They have signed on with us as tastemakers and talent to bring their flavor to the site and keep us looped in with the latest info on all the trends.

Can I contribute if I am not Latino?
Of course! Our community is just that--a community. We are Latino-driven but know that everyone that surrounds us influences our lives. We want our site to be a reflection of those influences.

How can I get [Sí] TV on my TV?
There is a very convenient little “Get [Sí] TV” button just above the [Sí] Network section on most pages. If you click on this button it will open a new browser window and the wizard will take you through the various steps to find out how you get Sí TV. If you do not have access in your area call your cable provider and ask for [Sí] TV to be put onto their roster of channels!!

Can I watch full episodes of my favorite [Sí] TV shows?
You can see clips of our different shows right now. We are currently working on getting full-episodes of all your favorite [Sí] TV shows up online so you can watch them at anytime--day or night. In the meantime, contact us and let us know which shows you’d like to see come available first.

What is the little grey plus icon I see everywhere?
The grey plus icon is how you “snag” things you like across the [Sí] TV Network. Once you click on it, the features, photos, videos or playlists are saved into your profile. It’s a very quick and easy way to save all the things you love.

How do I add videos to my playlist?
  • Find a video you like and snag it
  • The video will appear in the “My Video Snags” link in the video player
  • Add and remove videos as you like then select the “Save my Snags” button to make a playlist.
  • Type in a brief name for this playlist and select save
  • The playlist will save to the “My Playlist” tab in your profile

Where do I go to add and remove tracks from my playlist?
If you select your playlist to play in the video player you will see an “Edit Playlist” button. Select that button to edit your playlist. If you want to remove videos from your playlist, click “remove” on that video in the video player.

How can I embed my playlist for others to see?
In the video player you will see an “Embed” icon. Select this icon and two embed blocks will come up with embed code. One is for embedding a single video and the other for embedding a video with your playlist. Select the copy button on the embed code you wish to choose then paste it into your myspace page, personal page, wherever you want! It’s really cool!

How do I remove my profile from the [Sí] Network?
As of now you have to contact the network directly. Please go to the contact us section and send an email requesting your removal from our [Sí] Network.

How do I change my default picture?
  • Select “view profile” in the upper right hand corner of the site
  • Once inside of your profile select the edit tab
  • Here is where you can choose to edit account information, personal information, profile information, and add your user image.
  • When finished select the save button at the bottom.
  • Note: You can only have one profile image up at a time. If you want to change your profile image, check the “delete” option below the image. Then you can either save or upload a new photo which will automatically replace the old one

I'm trying to upload an image and I am getting an error message. What is wrong?
  • Make sure the image you are trying to upload is in one of the formats [Sí] accepts (.gif, .jpg).
  • Make sure the filename is simple and short, with no spaces or funny characters. "Image.jpg" is a good filename "Me at the beach! Drinking some beers~~.jpg" is probably not going to work.
  • Make sure the file is less than 2MB. We do not allow images over 2MB.

Where do I report spammers?
If you are being spammed through your [Sí] profile, please report the message by clicking on the “Alert” button located next to the message. You can also contact us with the URL to the spammer’s profile and details of how you were spammed by emailing us here.

How do I change my email address and/or password?

To search for a specific member you can type their name in the search bar and select search. Select the “users” tab and you should be able to find the person you are looking for.
